Soldiers in the streets of Canada’s cities

From Paul Wells’ blog:

It begins

Just now at the Subway on Bank St. I was buying my lunch and there… in line… standing in front of me… was a soldier.

In our cities.

In Canada.

A soldier.

He seemed to be ordering the six-inch ham and turkey.

With chipotle sauce.

In Canada.

We’re not making this stuff up.

The infamous attack ad that Wells is mocking has been pulled from the Liberal Web site, but it’s still available on the CTV site, here. Go to the “VIDEO” sidebar and click on “Liberal attack ad about Harper and military presence.” The file won’t open in the computer I’m at just now but I think it’s just a problem with my server.

Disclaimer:
Just because I’m mocking the Liberal attack ad, does not mean that I’m siding with the Conservative Party in this election. We maintain strict neutrality here at Art of the Rant — oh yes we do.

  1. That ad was disgusting. when politics get this dirty it makes you want to vote for the toaster, it would do a better job.

I love the last line in your post – “We maintain strict neutrality here at Art of the Rant — oh yes we do.”

  2. I thought Bill wrote this post and then I saw Bill’s comment and I thought he was bipolar or something–had to go back and check for a signature.
    Cool post, Q

  3. But wait Bill & Q this Liberal ad and the controversy surrounding it gets even funnier. See my post from today on this here blog!
