Non-Profit Corporation Possible?

I am not a business man but I have often wondered if a not for profit corporation was possible. If the sole purpose of a corporation was the pay of it’s employees a corporation that allows only employees to be stakeholders and has these concepts in it’s constitution. This may exist in some form but not being in business I would not know.
